LG&E Center 'goes red' to support the Cards
Friday, April 5, 2013
Regardless of where your loyalties lie, the University of Louisville Cardinals have earned national attention as both the men’s and women’s basketball teams head to the Final Four tournament this weekend.
The LG&E Center in downtown Louisville also is getting in on the action. Tonight, the building’s lights will change to red and will remain that color until both UofL teams complete their season.
If either team wins, the building will hold a rooftop light show to recognize the accomplishment.
After the season ends, the lights will return to blue to support Autism Awareness Month for the remainder of April.
